Justin Pawl, CFA

Senior Vice President, Senior Analyst

Justin is responsible for developing portfolio analytics, managing the firm's financing relationships and conducting due diligence on new investment opportunities. Prior to joining SBAS, Justin was a Principal with a boutique investment banking firm specializing in mergers and acquisitions and raising growth and acquisition financing for privately held companies. In conjunction with his investment banking activities, Justin also served as an Analyst for an event-driven hedge fund dedicated to facilitating liquidity events in the fund's target companies.

Justin graduated with a B.A. in Environmental Science from the University of California at Santa Barbara and earned a Master's Degree in Biogeochemistry, with Honors, from the same institution. Justin holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation, in addition to Series 7, Series 24 and Series 63 licenses.
